Tree Trimming
I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything, but school has been crazy. I also had the flu last week, which I'm pretty sure was from Satan himself. It was terrible. I never get sick, so when I do I'm pretty much a baby about it. Anyway, on to Christmas decorations. For those of you who do not know, I am a Christmas fanatic. I wish I could spend $1000 on decorations. Anyway, I bought a new tree this year, for several reasons, and I've had a few problems. As I got out the new tree, last night, I put the first row of branches on and then put lights on that row. My first problem is that I am a little excessive when it comes to lights. My second problem was that I ran out of lights before I was even half way up the tree. So, back to Wal-Mart I went, with my very patient friend Jeff. I came back to finish the tree, when much to my dismay, all of the lights on my tree went out. So, as I figured out which strand was bad, we replaced it with a good strand. So, back to Wal-Mart we went to exchange it for a good one. I got back to the house, put the next row of limbs on the tree and as I plug in my first strand of lights for that row, they all go out again. So, needless to say, right now I have half a tree in my living room, with no working lights. I worked on that tree for 5 hours last night. My roommate's wonderful brother-in-law Matt, informed us that there are probably too many lights for only one extension cord. So, my Friday night will be spent trying to figure out how to wire two different extension cords, so that maybe I'll stop blowing out strands of Christmas lights. As much work as this has been, I will definitely be posting pictures of the finished product. Merry Christmas Everyone and get those decorations out.
